Overland Storage Executive Named to CRN's "Power 100: The Most Powerful Women of the Channel 2012"
Jul 24, 2012 (Marketwire via COMTEX) --Overland Storage (NASDAQ: OVRL), the trusted global provider of effortless data management and data protection solutions across the data lifecycle, today announced that Jillian Mansolf, vice president of global sales and marketing at Overland Storage, has been recognized by UBM Channel's CRN Magazine as one of the "Power 100" Most Powerful Women of the Channel for 2012.
An elite subset of CRN's annual Women of the Channel list, the "Power 100" designation is awarded to the highest ranking women holding the most prominent channel-focused positions in a vendor or Solution Provider organization. These women have made a name for themselves as influential leaders within their own company, and the IT channel as a whole. Executives on the list were selected by the editors of CRN Magazine based on nominations and applications from a field of vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers.
"Now in its 9th annual publication, CRN's special 'Women of the Channel' issue is one of our most popular of the year," said Kelley Damore, VP, Editorial Director, UBM Channel. "The 'Power 100' designation is a special achievement award given to an elite subset of our Women of the Channel list. It's given to a small group of female executives based on their accomplishments over the past year, and their dedication to driving the overall success of the IT Channel. We want to honor and congratulate these women for their contributions to the industry and their respective organizations."
Mansolf, who has been named to the list for the third year in a row, currently oversees all aspects of global sales and marketing at Overland Storage, including all corporate and channel marketing, worldwide sales, sales operations, order management and field engineering. Under Mansolf's leadership, the Overland FastTrack Partner Program she launched last year has grown from 290 unique partners to more than 1,500 worldwide. In addition, the base of active FastTrack users grew 10x to over 4,000 active users, driven by exclusive benefits including margin protection through deal registration, specialized on-demand training and customizable sales support offered to partners.
"I am thrilled that CRN has once again recognized Jillian's contribution to the channel and named her to the Power 100 list. Since joining Overland in 2009, Jillian has diligently worked to ensure that Overland supports our channel partners through our 100% commitment to the channel," said Eric Kelly, president and CEO of Overland Storage. "Under her leadership, we launched a fully integrated, global partner program and have seen our active partner base grow ten times larger in the last year alone by providing our partners with the resources they need to maximize their sales opportunities and grown their business with us."
The Power 100 Women of the Channel will be listed on CRN.com. The overall Women of the Channel list will appear in the July 2012 issue of CRN Magazine.
