The newest addition to the rapidly growing REO family, the REO 1000 accelerates the backup process and provides high-speed file restores, delivering more cost-effective data protection than entry-level tape autoloaders. The product will be carried by leading direct marketers and distributors, and customer sales of the REO 1000 have already commenced.
According to Gartner Dataquest, the tape autoloader market is valued at over $1.4 billion in revenue for the 2003-2006 forecast period.
