Overland Delivers SAN Backup for Ingram Micro's Bundled SAN Solutions

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 2, 2001--Overland Data, Inc. (NASDAQ:OVRL) announced today that its automated tape backup products are now available as part of a complete Storage Area Network (SAN) solution offered by Ingram Micro (NYSE:IM).

Ingram Micro, the largest global wholesale provider of technology products and supply chain management, has bundled SAN hardware with specialized services to deliver a scalable solution including components and accessories ranging from backup software and fibre channel bridges and switch and DLT tape library under one part number. Leading global storage vendors Veritas and QLogic also support Ingram Micro's new bundled SAN Solution.

VAR customers who choose the SAN bundle receive support from a trained sales and technical support team, help desk, customized marketing programs and promotions, and access to a dedicated Web site with valuable industry information and selling tools.
