International Sales Veteran Tapped to Drive Momentum of Tiered Storage Solutions

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Overland Storage, Inc. (Nasdaq: OVRL) today announced the promotion of Philippe Cazaubon as vice president of worldwide sales. In his new capacity, Cazaubon will oversee Overland's global sales efforts, further strengthen relationships with value added resellers and OEM partners as well as drive revenue growth through the company's tiered storage offerings.

Since 2000, Cazaubon has served as vice president of Asia Pacific, which includes Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. During this time, he spearheaded the signing efforts of many noteworthy deals. In addition, Cazaubon also led Overland's initiative to secure key overseas OEM contracts with companies such as NEC and Fujitsu.

Cazaubon joined Overland in February 2000. He previously served as international sales manager at HM Electronics, a San Diego-based manufacturer of wireless communication systems. Prior to HME, Cazaubon was chief engineer and sales manager at Paris-based Frimeda. Since starting his international career in the Congo in 1985, Cazaubon has worked and lived in Europe, the U.S. and currently Singapore. He holds a Diplome Universitaire de Technologie de Genie Civil from the Institut Universitaire de Technologie at Bordeaux University in France.
